Paid blogging is the single most easiest form of online money making I have ever encountered, and I bet almost everyone else agrees with me, even Isaiah of Ezekun.com can attest to that.
However, as I read one of his post about his experience blogging and how he got started with pay to blog programs, it also reminded me that this may not be suitable for everyone. I’ve been pushing my husband, sisters and little brother to get involved with blogging for almost a year now as a way of making money online, since they spent so much time on the Internet playing MMORPGs. However, none of them made a move, or at least not as serious as I. They definitely have some ideas of what to blog about, but my husband told me that he doesn’t really know how.
Don’t know, or don’t care? Let me be honest, ideas are everywhere as long as you have the capacity to think, so that shouldn’t be a reason for you not to blog. And I’m pretty sure my husband knows how to blog because he sees me doing it every day, and he’s a systems analyst.
I finally deduced that he, as well as my other siblings, didn’t care to blog, and I am assuming that’s because he’s not really passionate about writing. If sharing your thoughts and ideas out to the world through writing content doesn’t turn you on (no, not THAT way!), then even when you have started blogging down the road, you won’t last that long because you lack the passion to share in words.
There are ways of making money — offline and online — other than blogging, that’s for sure. But just like getting paid to blog, these stuff take effort. Most importantly, though, is that you have to take action. Stop thinking about it, and just go do it.

I envy you. I have been blogging now for just about a month. I enjoy doing it and I have been following everybody’s advise on how to build traffic, and nothing is happening! Everybody advises that I should be patient and allow the traffic to build up slowly! Some say that I have to wait for six months at least!
What is your take?
Lorna, you hit the nail squarely on the head. The number one rule is: you MUST like to write. I’ve been keeping journals for as long as I can remember (something like 25 years ago) and I still have them.
Now I have too many blogs/domains and too little time.
But the fire is such that I foresee doing this full time in future.
Ever thought of consolidating a few of your blogs into your popular Chronicles site? I’m sure you’d think that the content from World Records site, for instance, might not be right for your personal thoughts blog, but the combined traffic you’d be getting can be awfully good for improving your PR. All the best with your problogging efforts, hope you reach it soon!
Good point. Will consider your suggestion. Thanks.
you got that right! ^_^
It always seems unbelievable to us bloggers, that anyone in the world wouldn’t want to do it too… but there are some crazy people out there who just don’t get blogging.
I’ve forgot since when i started to blog… but all my effort to drive traffic and learn to WRITE never stops. I think blogging is best for me rather than sleep the whole day..haha!
this is agood idea:D
I never got a success with paid blogging 🙁
Paid blogging is cool; especially if you are interested in the topic. But if you don’t like writing or what you are writing about it can be just like a job you hate.
Good post! I am thinking we might need to hire someone to write a blog for our website.
Paula, I can take on assignments. If you want to see the kind of work that I can produce, please visit my blog.
I agree that it has to be something that you like to blog about or at least
something that you could be interested in or always wanted to know about or you may not last doing it.
