It’s my bookmark clean-up time! As a result of my bloghopping for the past several months, I’ve been read about a few cool and free resources highlighted by some bloggers, and here are two of them:
- Kay Kastum posted about this free genealogy software that is available for download, called the Family Tree Legend. It’s a very handy software and I took the liberty to try it out myself. It is pretty easy to use at it claims, and once you’re done entering your genealogy data, you can even convert everything into a PDF book, ready to be printed. I especially appreciate the fact that the software has an option to add more than one spouse per person (my great great grandfather had five wives… you know how it was in the olden days).
- You Can’t Coach That posted about this nice online tool at FloorPlanner.com, where you can hone your interior design skills by creating floor plans that fit your need. The cool thing about it, other than being free, is the fact that you can then e-mail your floor plan to whosoever you want. The icons look great and I love the fact that they’re all in colour. I’m using this pretty soon to redesign my home office I.
Spread the love
