Insomnia is hitting me pretty hard this past couple of nights, which is why I FINALLY got the chance to blog! I’ve been overwhelmed with some major life decisions that need to be dealt with, mostly health-wise (like, should I do that surgery?). I was still blogging once in a while for the sake of money (you know what I’m talking about), but mostly I’m focusing on recently teaching my 7-year old son to blog as well if he ever wants that expensive toy and the piano classes he’s been pestering me about 🙂 You’ll be seeing a lot of him as a contributor in the Blog of Rugrats, as soon as I have the time to approve his two-line posts. On top of my 15-month old clingy son trying to get his hands on my computer, life is just getting more hectic. I miss blogging so much that I’d have occasional dreams about freely sitting in front my computer doing nothing but blog.
Mostly though, my hours spent in front of the computer has to do with struggling with my XAMPP upgrade that just doesn’t seem to be working since 3 weeks ago, thus becoming the major culprit for me not completing the fix for the Top Commentators Widget. I’ve finally decided a few minutes ago to reset the whole thing and move XAMPP into a thumbdrive, which I think may not make a difference but at least there’s some effort.
Again, lots to blog about but too much distraction going on. Once my XAMPP install is complete, the latest TCW should be up in WordPress plugins directory and my blogging life will hopefully resume to the normal 2-3 posts a week.
