Now, recently, the screen became white with few stripes on the right corner. It is still under warranty and I have even purchased the extension 2 years warranty. I have sent it back for repair at ACER via there DHL service. I find it extremely dishonest that they now send me a £95 quotation cost for repair pretending the damage is 'accidental' and therefore not covered by the warranty pretending originally the poor quality of the packaging, revising their position once I told them I used the original packaging + bubble raping. I am pursuing my complaint further as I find this attitude extremely dishonest.
