I used the check and saved myself a ton of grief. I also installed the visibility plugin (to hide my sponsored posts in the feed) and it seems to work. Both of my blogs are working fine. The only issue I had was the global translator that, once again, stopped working with an upgrade. I tossed it out the nearest virtual window.
