Phone card collection and savings

I remembered back when phone cards were all the range during the 1990s; not only were they convenient to use as well as a necessity to every single student I know, it was also a trend to collect those wonderfully designed cards. Once the credits in those phone cards were fully used, I would see my friends trading those cards. The higher the value of the card originally purchased, the more in demand it would be because people rarely buy them. Domestic calling cards were easier to find than those used for international calls, and I remember a friend of mine who went ga-ga whenever she found a deal on international calling cards, new or used.
