Playing catch-up with blogging is something I’m still trying to get used to even after three years going into this. I put myself into hot water for trying too hard at times and opening up way too many blogs for my own good. Such is the predicament of a person trying to make money off the Internet, I guess. But I don’t mind. It’s actually enjoyable 99.9 percent of the time. At least I don’t get stressed out as much that I needed to buy any medical coverage like Blue Advantage or such.

There are so many ways to make money, both offline and online. Blogging is my way of generating extra income. My offline methods, meanwhile, are very much risk-free, investing in government-issued unit trusts and even into social security. As long as both investments has a return of at least 5 percent or more, then I’ll be contented. I particularly am glad that it also provide social security disability benefits for times in case I need it.

It is now almost half a year already, and so many has happened and has changed in this short span of time. Blogging life is slow, but this is just because my focus hasn’t really been into WebGrrrl.net, but in my other blogs that have potential for some money making. My no-eating-at-night regime is also paying off, and I’m glad I’m losing help without needing any supplements or best diet pills.

Don’t you sometimes wish that you can add time to your life to do the things you want to do? I love this hectic life, but sometimes I wish I had more room to do more stuff in one day. A lot of times when this happens, I’d have to sacrifice meal times, hence the weight loss. People would think that I’m taking a top rated diet pill, but really, I’m just too busy sometimes to eat.

You can hazard a guess through the content in this blog that I am actively (or more appropriately, passively) making money by blogging. The one thing you have to realize about my endeavor is that not every blog project that I run guarantees the right amount of money flowing. In this case, I still make money, by flipping these sites. I use Digital Point to flip those sites, and if I have several sites I need to sell off, I’d usually offer a wholesale price for the whole caboodle. That way, I’ll still have enough money to develop more spot-on money-making blogs.

I have never really bothered with my complexion until recently, especially now that I’m back being a full-time working mother. Those fine lines around my face are beginning to bother me a lot. But before I work on that, I needed to focus first on my dental health. Only after I get one of those dental implants, I would then have enough funds to budget for a proper facial treatment. I’ve seen those microdermabrasion techniques where your skin starts looking years younger after just one treatment. I’ll head over to the dermatologist and check my options.

I’m feeling a bit bummed that not only don’t I have enough time to update my Blog of Rugrats site, but I recently missed on attending my niece’s birthday party yesterday. My kids were more bummed that I was, because they were so eager to see their cousins and play with them. I would imagine that my nieces and nephews enjoyed all the baby birthday decorations and food, although my niece isn’t quite a baby anymore. She’s still at that huggable age, though, just like my son, so that makes them still babies in my eyes. I’d better come up with some nice ideas for my next posts in my kids’ blog so that it won’t look too abandoned.

Why do you start a blog? Is it because you want to be a part of a trend? Is it because you want to show off to your friends that you’re ahead of the game, just like the rest of us geeks? Is your blog a place for you to rant, or to improve your skills, whether it be technical or writing-wise? Some of us, like I do, take blogging seriously. Some do it as a hobby, some do it for the fun of it, some even make money out of it. Whatever your motivation may be, it’s best to have some hope that your blog can last as long as you do. If you find that along the road, the content of your blog remained stagnant for your own liking, you may be able to sell it off, or just download those posts as an offline keep-sake, kind of like your diary. Besides, many times it’s a proof of some hard work you put into, and it would be nice to read them back in the future when you feel like you want to reminisce the time when you had to take diet pills in order to lose weight, for example.

I have mentioned in one of my blog posts here in WebGrrrl.net, about the many blogs that I own as an attempt to make money online blogging. One of those sites is a travel deals blog. I find that it’s a difficult niche to break into, due to the simple fact that I’m not sure which angle I should be focusing on. I know for a fact that a single click from Google AdSense can bring at least about $2 into my account, so it’s obvious that getting into this niche is one profitable venture. But if I don’t have a specific focus on this niche, it might as well be buried along with all the other wanna-be travel sites out there in cyberspace. Many things I have yet to learn about this niche blogging stuff.

Have you ever considered using your blog to sell products, whether as an affiliate or producer of that product itself? It’s kind of hard to figure out what I should sell in my personal blogs, because personal blogs usually end up being very general. So, not only will it not rank that high in the search engines, but the products I could very well end up selling, may most probably not be related to my blog content. Maybe I can get away with doing something like diet pill reviews or any other product review for that matter, instead of hard-selling them on my blog.
